I vaguely remember this manga about a group of people, including our protagonist and his childhood friend (I think she had short hair), that end in a fantasy world in a sort of battle royale where if they lose they come back to the real world. As part of a ruthless program by the totalitarian government, ninth-grade students are taken to a small isolated island with a map, food, and various weapons.
